Taped mouth last night...

Post by tl424 » Wed Aug 03, 2016 9:08 pm

So I taped my mouth for the first time last night while using my wisp nasal mask. Results? I had my first good dream in a longgg time. Dreamt that I was with my girlfriend at a soccer game. Another was me driving a Ferrari down a twisty beautiful mountain road.

More of this please!

Very nice - I'm glad it worked for you! You may find that, after some time, the tape is no longer necessary as you get used to not breathing though your mouth any more.

Which tape did you use? I always recommend the 3M Micropore tape. Amazing stuff, but you can't move it because it won't stick a second time.

The quote feature is indeed acting up again.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

For some reason a 1" 3M Micropore which covers almost all of my mouth produces more leaks than a 1/2" water proof Rite Aid tape, which does only partial coverage.

Good for you. I used the 3M tape for many months and then eventually managed to go without it and just use a basic chinstrap without any leaks at all.
