What is best travel cpap out there ??? If anyone can agree.

I don't know which is the best travel cpap.

I have a resmed s9, which is not a travel machine, but I have taken it on many trips. It can fit in my suitcase, and have put it in a checked bag and have also brought it as a carry on. The resmed s9 fits in a small bag.

What type of machine do you have?

There is no consensus, as your needs may differ.
Three possible choices are Z1, Transcend, or Intellipap; listed in order of smallest to largest.
The smallest sized machines may be noisier and have fewer features, so you weigh the pros and cons for yourself.
Most of the better home machines are also classified as "travel" machines.
Cpap.com has a compare feature you may use for side by side evaluation.
Note: sound level in decibels is logarithmic, meaning one number larger equals ten times the energy of sound.

You should define for us what travel means to you. Land, sea, air, hardly ever, occasionally(still hardly ever), often or all the time.

Armed with that knowledge we might just say use what you have or maybe recommend a small cpap for all the time air travel or something in between.

I travel mostly by air. Enough that I would like an experienced viewpoint on what I need to consider in the small portable category. No batteries. 110 only. Manual air adjustment. Either with or without humidifier.

Resmed S8 Auto is the best travel machine IMO.

I travel weekly by plane. I use the HDM Z1 Auto and before that the Z1. It is tiny at 13oz, about the size of a soda can squished a little to make it oval. The "brick" is more like a candy bar and weighs about 5oz. No humidification but I use the disposable HME (Heat Moisture Exchanger). I would not travel with anything else.

I also use an accessory called the Q-Tube which is basically a muffler. All the tiny machines use a tiny blower which has to spin very, very fast to produce the CFM and pressure and thus are noisy but the Q-Tube takes care of that in my opinion.

Because of the small blower the air "feels" different and may take a few nights to get used to depending on how sensitive you are. I transition seamlessly between my Z1 Auto and PR System 1 and sleep exactly the same with either.

It is absolutely much less bulk and weight than any larger machine.

in addition you should mention things like what pressure you are at now and even the current cpap make & model.
the reason is some travel models may not go up to a high pressure like 20cm, have exhale relief, or come in bipap models.
me - i travel with a model identical to my every day cpap. this helps so i dont have to learn how to operate something diff and i have spare parts if i have any problems i can swap out things like the power supply, humidifier, etc. not to mention if you are in the compliance part of your therapy you will need to show the hours of use on the insurance paid for cpap and no insurance will pay for a travel cpap that i am aware of,

I have twin S9s and use alternate one to travel for up to 10 weeks a year.

Those who don't fly weekly don't understand the attractiveness of the mini machines.
