clinical manual Resmed M series

Post by brazospearl » Thu Jul 14, 2016 9:00 pm

My friend has recently had another sleep study & has started trying to use her old Resmed M series machine. She has no manuals for it, and I couldn't find anything online to help. She doesn't even know what all the buttons do. The people at her sleep study center told her it was fine to use, as it will never wear out, but they didn't seem to know too much else about it. Can anybody help? Thanks so much!

Go here and look at the Quick Start instructions and while here request the complete manual via email.

Pugsy, honey, thank you SO MUCH. That's exactly what we need to get started. I knew cpaptalk.com would come through!

Do you happen to know which model?
Basic model (no data)
Plus model (no data)
Pro model (data-capable)
Auto model (data-capable)
Auto w/A-Flex model (data-capable)

Over the years, I've posted the setup instructions for most of them on the forum. So, they're already here.

Den

.
(5) REMstar Autos w/C-Flex & (6) REMstar Pro 2 CPAPs w/C-Flex - Pressure Setting = 14 cm.
"Passover" Humidification - ResMed Ultra Mirage FF - Encore Pro w/Card Reader & MyEncore software - Chiroflow pillow

Den, honey, I couldn't find anything on her machine except RESmed M Series. It's probably the basic model with no data. My friend hasn't taken her apnea seriously, but now that she's had 2 stents & gotten a wonderful husband who is concerned for her health she's taking steps to get her apnea under control. In the interest of "saving money," she didn't want to purchase a new machine because the person at the sleep center told her the one she has will never wear out. That's great, except there doesn't seem to be any way to see if her therapy is effective. Bless her heart, she comes to me for help but won't follow my suggestions. I can't think of anything else I can do to try to help. But I sure appreciate y'all being there for her--and me!

you have to look on the section with the three buttons for the exact name

you *might* have to remove the cpap from the humidifier base to see the model numbers. if you do that, you just pull up on the front of the cpap, it just presses onto the base at the front.
