I am using the latest SleepyHead beta available for Windows with my Resmed Aircurve 10 S. The last two nights, according to SleepyHead, I've achieved an AHI of 0.0 and my leak rates are very low (less than 3). However, when I log onto Resmed myAir it shows an AHI of 0.6 and a bad mask seal with a leak rate up to 25. Obviously either AHI is good but the discrepancy is odd.
Is SleepyHead transferring the data wrong? The SleepyHead wiki states the Aircurve 10 series is supported as of this most recent beta software version.
edit: myAir is not translating the data properly it seems. it says I used my machine for 6 hours last night when I used it for 8.5 hours. it also says I took my mask off twice and I did not get out of bed at all.
edit2: it ALSO has data for days I didn't even own the machine (I just got it July 1st, Friday). I think my old machine that I rented is being used by someone else and somehow the serial number ties it to the myAir account.
I have my own machine now that I purchased, I think the old one that I returned to Apria is still registered to me via serial number - so I'm receiving someone else's data on myAir LOL.

Re: SleepyHead showing different results than Resmed myAir?
I see some discrepancies as well from time to time.
The biggest differences occurred when I forgot to put my SD card back into the machine. In those cases, the reported AHI in SleepyHead is way lower than the one reported by MyAir/AirSense (0.63 vs. 3.0).

look on the Session Information stats on Sleepyhead (bottom left, yellow bars) click on those. Each session can have a different AHI. is one of those 0.0?

Re: SleepyHead showing different results than Resmed myAir?
SleepyHead will raise an alarm about the leak rate long before the MyAir website will raise one because the machine and ResMed don't really get all worked up about leaks until you spend quite a bit of time above 24 L/min.
Where are you seeing the leak warning in SH?
The MyAir website shows the 95% leak number I believe...for 95% of the night you were at or below that leak number. Short brief spikes to 25 probably are so brief they aren't important.
I am not sure but I think the AHI discrepancy is related to a rounding up or down of the AHI but there can also be a discrepancy if the SD card wasn't in the cpap machine during the night.
When in doubt use ResScan software to verify any questionable results. Windows only though.

Have you updated My Air to your new machine? If not, it will never show the right data. To update your machine info, click on the cpap machine picture at the bottom of the page, then click on the pen in the right hand corner.

I have not, I just made that realization a few minutes ago. LOL. I am going to change the serial number information when I get home and then hopefully I've fixed it.Okie bipap wrote:Have you updated My Air to your new machine?
