I've been on ASV for almost 3 years. I am 32 with no known health issues. I was diagnosed with primarily central, but some obstructive apnea as well. No cause or explanation could be found for the central.
My AHI averages between 1 and 2. It is quite rare for me to see anything past 2.
Last night, I went to bed at my normal time. No alcohol or any medication. I woke up feeling like garbage, to see that my AHI was 5! I have not once seen an AHI of 5 since I've been on therapy.
I took a look at my results and I just see a TON of hypopneas.
Couple questions....
1. Does this merit me going to see my sleep doc whom I haven't seen in over a year?
2. Is it likely that these hypopneas are central or obstructive in nature?
3. Can any other conclusions be drawn from looking at my data?
Since I was never given a cause for my CSA, these increases scare me that it might get worse.
