Have you answered the ad and ASKED????? Even a brick of this model at that price would make a great back up or travel machine. I would only make a long distance transaction via pay pal.....no checks.

No, I just threw that out there for someone who might want an inexpensive backup machine and might want to take a stab at it.

I was eying this $700 Aircurve 10 ASV model. Didn't call on this one, but texted offering $500 via Paypal and didn't get an answer. Anyway, I just bought a zero hour 2015 S9 Adapt for $300 so I have backup and primary and I haven't bothered to follow up on this one out of Millbury, MA. It's probably the only Aircurve 10 ASV on craigslist, and the photos are real rather than stock photos. could be good for someone.

Ahhh man, I wish I had some spare cash but I don't have that much or I would be checking that ASV out.
The other machine for $145 the AirSense 10 AutoSet....supposedly sold and being picked up tomorrow.
I emailed on it. Kinda been wanting to try ResMed Autoset (never have tried one in actual apap mode) and figured pick that one up cheap...try it for fun for couple of nights...sell it here and get my money back...everyone wins.

How is it that you no longer "need" it?
You have three posts to your credit and all three have been trying to sell this machine.......which may be priced a little too high.

If this was your machine, maybe you still need to use it.

Not that this is any of your business but... I have recently lost 56 lbs and that has helped my sleep apnea a great deal. I haven't used my machine in almost a year and am doing great. I tried secondwindcpap and another website that I cannot remember right now and they are not taking that model right now. I came across this website and thought someone might find it useful on here instead of it collecting dust at my house. I have seen that these groups have been very hostile to outsiders which is pretty sad when some people come across this site trying to actually be of service. So maybe you shouldn't try to run every person that has a few posts off. Yes all my posts are trying to sell my CPAP. that is what I have to offer. If you don't want it then pass up the post. If you do let me know and hopefully we can work out a deal that helps us both out.

Well, you make it "our business" when you post to sell a CPAP machine on a "CPAP HELP" forum. We try to help people use their equipment and get good therapy. Over the years, there have been many, many people give up on or quit their therapy for many reasons. So, naturally, when someone tries to sell THEIR CPAP equipment, we are curious as to why.
Before you sell the machine, it would be in your best interests to have a follow-up sleep study to determine how your "sleep breathing condition" is working without the machine. Just losing weight doesn't necessarily mean that your sleep apnea is "gone". For many people, sleep apnea CAUSES weight gain and losing the weight doesn't get rid of the sleep apnea.
I would advise not getting rid of the machine until you have the results of the follow-up sleep study.

Not trying to run you off.......just trying to help.

I realize a lot of visiting people don't realize this, but this is a cpap help forum. It is NOT a cpap market forum. Yes, there is one thread for trading supplies. And we have a few long time people who are trustworthy and have machines. But they rarely ever post items for sale.

Almost every sales post from a new person is over priced. And many are being sold by people who gave up on treatment. Since we aren't going to buy an overpriced machine as a backup (and most of us have a machine already); we might as well do what the goal of the forum is - HELP the person use their machine.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

Sold on Craigslist. Thanks anyway. Much luck to all of you in your CPAP journey. Try to be nicer to visitors in the future and you might come across some good deals.
