Question about the Airsense 10 Autoset

Post by stepbill » Thu Jun 02, 2016 4:31 pm

I set this up last night for a first time use and after the ramp pressure met the set pressure, the machine would make a whining noise and would get louder during inhale. It was enough noise to not allow me to fall back to sleep. I turned the ramp setting off and the machine would start doing it again once it reached the minimum setting. Does anyone else's machine do this?

Is it a brand new machine? I think I would be taking it back to where I got it...what you describe isn't common at all. Most people say their AirSense 10 machines are almost totally silent no matter what the pressure.

I don't hear a thing from the machine, just the mask if anything at all.

Once in a while, my machine makes a whining noise especially on exhalation. I take the humidifier out and put it back in and that stops it. But that happens right away.
Given enough sleep....I could rule the world.
