Loki is correct. Each battery has ring connectors bolted to the lugs, then a short cable that terminates in one of those offset can't-get-it-wrong 12V connectors. My Battery Tender has that same offset connector, so they plug and unplug quick as you please, with no hot wires lying around loose.
