Here is the website:

http://www.nightbalance.com/

The product seems to give a vibration that reminds people sleeping on their back to move to their side. Supposedly, it doesn't disturb sleep architecture but for some reason, I am skeptical.

Didn't see cost provided which makes me suspicious it is going to be quite expensive. And it seems like it can't be purchased directly by the consumer.

Personally, I have not tried to sleep on my side as many times, I end up in that position without even trying which is fine. But when I specifically wanted to make sure I did, I propped a wedge pillow by my side that prevented me from rolling on my back.

Not so high tech but check out these foam wedges(scroll down to the middle section of the page):

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Then there is a simple backpack, cheap, easy to find;
and you can stuff it with anything you like--- pillow, hockey gear, squeaky toys.

There is a simple solution often mentioned and it apparently works: pin a tennis ball to the mid-back of your pajamas.

If you have difficulty getting a safety pin into the ball, put the ball in a sock and then pin the sock to the pj's.

This doesn't tell us much-- esp. since the results of the Clinical Trial are not posted-- but it does appear that the Night Balance was submitted for review in Europe. It does not currently appear to be available in the US.

https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT02114424

For what it is worth, there are several vertical or positional devices currently in use with the elderly that alert their caregivers when they have fallen, gotten out of bed, etc., including some that send the alert to the care giver's cell phone. It is easy to imagine that similar technology might be useful for sleep posture, if the vibrations actually cause the sleeper to reposition him/herself..

There are other, similar sleep positional devices on the market, such as the zooma http://zzomaosa.com

Controlshift seems to have disappeared, however just wanted to add to my reply up above. Another advantage of having a wedge pillow under your hips and back is that it gives you multiple sleep positions beyond the basic right side, left side and supine options. My old bones like to have multiple positions which I rotate thru the night... this allows my back and hips feel refreshed and recovered in the morning. (Yes, hip replacement will probably be in my future, no matter what) Happy back and hips, happy sleeper IOW. Young people may not get it, but most old people truly understand what I'm saying.

Hi
Still here. Thanks for the reply.
I've been recommended his device by a medical rep. He says propel use this longer then other devices.
It's €400 to buy or 30 a month to rent.

I think something like this would bother me and cause sleep problems. Since my sleep apnea is worse on my back, I have an auto machine that will increase pressure as I need it. This works well to keep my ahi below 2. I also tend to sleep less on my back now as the pressure going up does annoy me slightly. I can roll onto my side and the pressure goes back down. The pressure increases are very short and very few. This works very well for me.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?
