Now she said she doesn't want to do another sleep study. I am just so frustrated. I was upset when she said you should be happy to not need the CPAP! I said that I went to the doctor because I wasn't feeling restored when I wake up. Now I'm just back to square one, but am out around $800-$1000. She said, well, I just don't know what to tell you. So, she just prescribed sleeping pills. I have a bad feeling I'm looking for another sleep doctor. It will be my 4th one since October.

What did your sleep study show that led to the sleep apnea diagnosis in the first place? If an in lab sleep study showed apnea and an at home oximeter was normal- the in lab study is far and away going to be the more accurate and beneficial of those two things. While I understand how frustrating it is not to be making progress or getting answers, switching doctors so often could easily be contributing to the problem. It's hard for anyone to see the whole picture if no one sees you for more than a visit or two and 4 different doctors have ordered tests and gotten 4 different results.

You've gone on and on about your seizures, and wonder (with the doctors' suspicions too) if they're causing your sleep problems... so you arranged for an EEG when sleeping - they're done all the time btw, if not for sleep study/OSA use, for other neuro. reasons. But now you seem to have forgotten or are ignoring it, so what's going on?

I don't know. I called her back and left a message. She said earlier that they should go back away because they started constantly when I started the CPAP. She expects them to go away when I stop the CPAP. I just feel like there isn't an actual answer here. And I'm frustrated. I don't mind trying medication. But, I want to know WHY it happened :/

I have no idea what you're talking about past the first sentence here... not English (and not responsive re EEG question).
