Sleepyhead data analysis breakdown help. Help appreciated
Anyone have anything to say about my sleep to make any improvements or changes to my settings? This was yesterday and I was tired than usual and slept in more than regular and still tired like I didn't even sleep. It could be that I just overslept and that made me very groggy.

Do you take any meds of any kind and if so, what are they and when do you take them?
Any other health conditions that could impact sleep quality? Pain, insomnia, arthritis, mood issues etc?
Do you sleep soundly or wake up often during the night?
I assume that you are using this type of machine because of special issues with central apneas? Is that correct?
If so, I don't know that I would suggest messing with the settings as they seem to be working very well.
I use the same machine and get similar reports so I am familiar with the reports. The flow limitation graph with this particular mode always looks worse than it really is so that needs to be ignored. Everything else looks good on paper anyway.
Edit...one more question...how long have you been using this machine? I see you joined the forum in late March of this year...is that when you started therapy or is that just when you found us?

I sleep pretty well. Not insomniac. Been using asv type of machine when I was first diagnosed back since 2010 and been using it regularly since then. I only recently try using this resmed s9 asv after using the respironics for all those years before. Reason was I was feeling it wasn't working as it should and been getting less effective. So I tried the new machine for about a month now. Hopefully will improve over time. The older respironics asv advanced machine is noisier and older generation remstar series. I thought everything looked pretty good. Just wanted to confirm I wasn't messing something obvious. I know the settings shouldn't be that important as it is an asv machine and I usually let the machine have a wide range. I also change it around a lot and the results are all about the same. Nothing really gets better or worst. Some days are better than others. I just make sure i have no leaks and my my mouth isn't open. That use to be an issue with my mouth being open but now that isn't a problem anymore. Even when I use full face mask which I hate when I have a stuffy nose I still feel tired so I know it has nothing to do with any mouth leaks. I will try little changes here and there to see if sleep improves. All of my bloodwork comes out normal ranges. It could be my thyroid. My thyroid test came out at 3.22 when is normal under current medical guidelines but many people I read says anything over 2.55 could be problem. I will try to get a more complete thyroid panel test next time to totally rule it out. Thank you for responding.

You may just need some time adjusting to this particular brand of ASV.
Respironics and ResMed ASV machines both do the same job but they do go about it a bit differently and it may simply be that you need to get used to the way this machine does its job.
I haven't ever used one of those older Respironics ASV machines but I have used the one that is comparable to this S9 and there was quite a difference in how it felt overall.
While giving it time it sure wouldn't hurt to have that blood work done just to cover other bases.
I don't see anything on the report that just screams out "fix me and you will feel better"....I wish it were that easy but unfortunately it isn't.
