ResScan not downloading requested infomation

Post by theoldman22 » Tue Apr 19, 2016 1:23 pm

Had a major computer crash several weeks ago. Before the crash rescan 4.3 was functioning well. After getting the computer functioning {?} had the following results described below.
A. In the Detail Graphs, got a download with a single date, ie, “4/17/2016”, and all selected information except flow {think I remember something from several years ago about having to click “fast ???” to get the flow graph . Can’t find anything like “fast???”.
B . In Statistics do not get a download that that has a single date, but one with an interval, ie, “1/16/2016-4/17/2016. Also, do not get device settings, ipap. epap entries in download.
Cleaned out the default. Reinstalled the desired settings to the default, template 4, but still got the results A and B.
Decided to replace resscan 4.3 with resscan 5.5.Tried to remove all resscan program, folders and files before installing resscan5.5. In configure put in desired downloads for statistics and detailed graphs {no need for summary info—equipment supplied by VA). Results A and B are still with me
Could someone please tell me how to get rescan to download the information requested?.

Forget Rescan and get Sleepyhead.

I agree. I have both on my computer and I cannot figure out why. ResScan has nothing on Sleepyhead and its graphics are terrible when compared to to SH. ResScan will be removed soon.

Can I ask why you want ResScan?

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

I prefer ResScan over SleepyHead. Never had a problem with it.

Thanks for the replies. I have SleepyHead. I like some parts of the SleepyHead better than some parts of ResScan. I like some parts of ResScan better than some parts of SleepyHead. SleepyHead is working fine. ResScan did work fine--it does not now. I would like to fix ResScan.
At 93 if I say that I am a computer semi-literate, I am bragging. I need help to get ResScan to download what has been chosen in the setup.

Try this:
Follow the steps to download info from the card:
On the start screen
Edit: if Quick Start is enabled go to Tools/options/download and remove the check mark from the box
1.Open Patient

2.Download Data
a. "Select" All available data
I. choose All Summary Data and All most recent Detailed Data
II. Check the box include high rate data
b. Start Download

3. Go to Review
a. Under Statistics
I. Select the time frame to review, ie, 1 day, 30 days, etc. Do not select "30 day compliance period"
II. Review Statistics, Summary, and Detail tabs for the time frame selected above
b. Under Reports
I. Select the type of report to generate. Again, do not select "30 Day Compliance"
II. Save formatting as desired
III. The time frame of the report will be that selected in step 3 under statistics (3.a.I)

Selecting either a 30 day compliance Review or Report is will cause a default of the first 30 days of use to be presented in all views. If either is selected, both must be cleared to move away from the setting.
