sleepyhead oximeter help

Post by Hexfly » Thu Apr 14, 2016 6:52 am

Hello!

I had a question about using the oximeter with sleepyhead. So, I synced my oximeter this morning with my CPAP info on sleepyhead and the times of the data are off. I started the oximeter and CPAP at the same time last night, and clicked that option when uploading data. However, the graphs and info are way off.

Does anyone have any idea what I may have done wrong? Thank you in advance.

If you are using an E,F,or I model of the CMS50 then they have their own clock. Did you sync it to your CPAP's time? Also, when importing data to SH you can opt to use the CPAP's time in lieu of the CMS50's.

I hope this may help.

You didn't mention what oximeter or CPAP you are using, but I have the same problem when I try to sync my Dreamstation sessions w/ my CMS50D+ oximeter. When you import the oximeter data, SH lets you select an existing session or set the time manually. When I select a session, it is off by several hours (eg if the session I selected began at 2:30PM (1530) the import screen will show 18:30 instead. I just select the session and then adjust the hours appropriately

FYI: 1530 is 3:30PM . . .2:30PM is 1430 and 1830 is 6:30PM. No biggie, some people have trouble with 24 hour time.

I'll mind my own business now.

Thank you, everyone, for your input. It looks like I started sleep about 10:00 Pm and the oximeter data starts at 1:00 AM. When I uploaded data, I picked the option that says I started the oximeter at the same time as CPAP. So maybe I will manually adjust the hours and see if I can get them to line up better.

My oximeter is the CMS 50F and I am using a Resmed Autoset 10.

I will report back and see if I can get things to work. I did have a good night however. 2.1 AHI and my O2 stayed within normal. I woke up with the oximeter not on the finger it started on. Not sure how that happened.

Oops, I am usually pretty good with it. Clearly was not in the right state of mind when I made that post, haha

what version of sleepyhead are you using, and what time zone are you in?

I think I heard that sithmark broke the oximeter stuff in the betas.

I am not sure what version it is. Where can I find that info? I downloaded it last week.

I tried to download oximeter this morning but clicked using the oximeters clock. It displayed the time I started the recording. So I thought I was set but it overlapped some of the night before and continued past....it displayed the data as happening during the day yesterday. I looked at the stats and it said average SpO2 was 94.8%. But min was 72....so I freaked out. But when I looked at graphed data, no where could I find it even coming close to 72. It was above 90% all the time.

Any info or ideas are appreciated. Maybe I got a lemon of an oximeter.

So, there are so many CMS50 oximeters on Amazon alone that I am lost. Which one should I get and where?

D+, E, F, I are the ones to look at, from least to most capable.
