Or, if your machine is out of warranty, then try ACCBIO.

Their web page is http://acbio.com/.

Chikorita, are there any repair facilities in your area? Did you get your machine locally? Maybe they can help.

Good luck.

I bought it online from US. Australia is very different to US with repair and service facilities. Hardly anything here.

So it's definitely something that needs repairing rather than fixing settings?

Ok, done this and it seems to be working. But it stopped for a while last night too. Ended up sleeping without machine for first time in nearly four years. Sitting here typing with my mask on waiting for it to happen again.

I'll try disconnecting humidifier but I'm really hoping it's not broken.
Bypassing the APAP program and setting it to CPAP is more likely to reveal or possibly correct the problem..... than fiddling around with removing the add-on unit that just adds moisture...........

Thanks. I just went through and checked all my settings and fixed the clock. Yay! Have left it on APAP for now because the problem seems to have disappeared. No idea why which is frustrating. Will see how it goes tonight.

If the cover of the humidifier is not closed and latched securely ... it might open slightly after 20 min and that can cause trouble. if it happens again press down on the cover firmly.
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Get the Clinicians manual here : http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual

You may have already done this but check your configured tube and mask types and make sure they are set for your equipment. I've confused the "Nasal" and "Pillows" mask settings in the past. I've also experienced random ventilator behavior a few years back. Turns out it was caused by a nascent tear in my tubing that created random leaks depending on how I moved my head while sleeping. The ventilator would run up to compensate for these leaks and would slow down as soon as I moved in reaction to it. Had me puzzled for a while until I figured it out.

Ooh, I may have made that settings mistake too. Will check that one.

I did wonder if it was happening when I moved. I've swapped hoses and it's not happening as often. So far there was only the one night I had to sleep without the machine. But ATM I haven't got the humidifier or climateline hooked up. Will try them again tonight I think.

Thanks.
