Dreamwear mask...

Just bought one on Amazon for $70. It's pretty amazing though I haven't slept with it yet (same day delivery in Nashville)

Note to readers that I have severe complex sleep apnea and have to use a bipap ASV machine. I previously used a wisp mask.

Last night was my first night on a cpap machine and I am really thankful I picked the Dream Wear mask. I loved it so much and had zero trouble keeping it on! Not bad for my first night. I hope everyone can find a mask as wonderful and I hope you sleep well with yours tonight!

Do you sleep on your side or back? I find it comfortable on my back, but very uncomfortable on my side. I have had mine for about 10 days now and cannot make it through a night before taking it off and putting on another mask.

Having nothing to compare it to (except DH's leaks and marks on his face with his nose mask)

I LOVE the Dreamwear. I don't notice the tubing & haven't had any irritation. I have used the same pillow since starting 2/8/16 (you are *supposed* to change 2 x mo) and I do see I am having larger leaks.

The pillow is just so cool. Someone on here gave a tip, if you have a leak push down on your nose and it goes away!

Sorry, I took a couple days to get used to it. I sleep on both my sides as well as my back. It seemed to work pretty well for my sides and great on my back. While on my sides it leaked a bit, but I was able to tweak it and make the leaks stop. I have to do that with my Wisp mask since it leaks. I have a VERY sensitive face and can't tolerate tightness, leaks, mask movement at all. This mask is a godsend for me. It's not a perfect mask (see earlier mentions about needing to tweak when laying on side while awake), but it's WAY better than others I've used both in the hospital (for the sleep test) and at home.

Edit: Oh, some side notes. My tubing runs through my bed's headboard, so it's above me. I don't have any tubing issues as a result. Also, the mask on Amazon came with medium head gear, which fit me perfectly. There were multiple cushions, I put the medium one on and that worked the best.

Make sure you have the right sizes for everything. Honestly I think a lot of the people that are having issues have the wrong sizes. If the headgear is too big, the nose pillow will slip and slide as you move around. If the nose pillow is too small or too big you'll have issues breathing. When i turn to either side there is some SLIGHT play, but a slight bump fixes it, and the leaks never become an issue, being around the same as my wisp. There is also no pressure on my face or head. The mask just kind of sits on my head and doesn't irritate anything.

I did the same thing. Its arriving tomorrow and I am hopeful! I am also using the Wisp and its been OK but I hate the feeling of the cup pushing on my nose. I am so hopeful with this new mask!!

Just popping in to say thanks for the tip about pushing on your nose to fix leaks, that works great!!!

Just a quick followup. This mask has been AMAZING. I've had minor leaks (1% large leak rate), but my AHI has been good (0.2-2.5) despite the fact i am a side sleeper. Now that I know I can get it from Amazon, I don't have to deal with my Medical Supply company anymore (they never answer their phone or return calls).
