Airsense 10 Humidifier Question

Post by bcab17 » Tue Mar 29, 2016 2:55 pm

Work takes me on the road for short 1 or 2 night hotel stays, and I never take the humidifier attachment for my old CPAP machine with me (I prefer the smaller size of the machine without it, and I don't miss the humidification at all for a night or two). Since the Airsense 10 humidifier looks like it's somewhat integrated, and actually forms one side of the machine, does it need to always be attached during therapy or can the Airsense 10 work without the humidifier connected?

You need one of these to use the CPAP without a humidifier.

Thanks for the quick answer. So the side cover does not come with the Airsense 10?

OK...thanks.

It looks like the humidifier adds 2 to 3 inches to the overall width of the Airsense 10. Is that about right?

Also, is it ok to use the machine with an empty (no water) humidifier attached?
