It was about 20 yrs ago, I was having difficulty doing a job I had done for years. Went to my GP. She said it was menopause put me on estrogen and progesterone. Nothing changed after 5 years, so I stopped taking them. It was almost 12 years later when I started dropping things in my left hand because I forgot I was holding any thing. I had all kinds of testing done and was told it was anxieties. I was then referred to a psychologist. It was 6 months after that diagnosis I went on a trip with my sister. I mentioned I slept better than I had in years but was exhausted. She said she knew why. Told me I wrote up every 15 minutes. I didn't believe her. Went back and told my doctor. She had me tested. At test time was told I had average if 13 apnea sand hour but 19 was the most in an hour.
I don't think doctors listen. I remember telling my old GP that I took 2 sleeping pills and still could not fall asleep. Back then they diagnosed me with fibromyalgia. I think they all go together. I feel as though I have had it all my life.
