Resmed Mirage Quattro tubing question

Post by WhatMeSnore » Mon Feb 22, 2016 9:17 am

Hi. I have a Resmed Mirage Quattro mask, and I need to buy new tubing for it. As I recall (I can't look at it right now), the mask has not only the 6 ft. tube, but an additional short piece of tubing between the mask and the main tube. The replacement tubing doesn't come with this piece, and it doesn't seem to be available (at the CPAP shop) as an accessory, so how can I replace that short tube?

Thanks!

Actually, I just saw that cpap.com does have short tubing, but which one do I choose for the Resmed Mirage Quatro?

The Mirage Quattro DOES NOT require any short tube. The main tube connects directly to the mask. Look at the pictures.

Hmm, I guess I'm wrong. I'll have to take another look - I think it's that the original tubing had a short piece, then a swivel, then the main tube. Replacement tubes don't have that short piece with the swivel.

Either the mask is something other than a Quattro, or the tube is off another mask.

But in any case, just about all hoses fit all masks unless either one is specifically unusual in some stated respect.

Are you talking about this swivel attachment? It's not part of the hose. If you have one on your current hose pull it off and use it on your new hose.
