FF Mask for those with beards

Post by apw5746 » Sun Jan 31, 2016 11:59 am

What is the best full face (FF) mask for those who have a beard? Don't respond with shave it off as I won't. I've worn a beard for 15+ years. Nasal pillows cause me to have dry mouth in the morning, plus a stuffed up nose.

Everybody is different, especially concerning masks. Until the 'great bearded ones' weigh in, you can do a search using the search box just below the CPAPtalk logo above. While you're waiting for personalized response (sorry, I don't have a beard) try these search terms below:

full face mask beard (this got 32 pages)
beard best mask
leaking mask beard
FFM beard leaks
...and so forth.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
