Pituitary Surgery and CPAP

Post by cmmarti3 » Fri Jan 29, 2016 6:06 pm

I may possibly have to have pituitary surgery to remove a tumor (Cushing's disease) and they go in through your nasal cavity to reach the tumor. I was wondering if anyone here has had this type of surgery(I saw some older posts but nothing recent) and how long until you were able to use your CPAP again? Also what did you do in the meantime? I know it's a long shot but thought I would ask.

Your doctor will tell you when you can use Cpap again, and you could try sleeping semi-upright in a recliner while waiting - it apparently helps to keep apneas down.
