Sorry, kind of gross..
I was quite congested before I went to bed last night and used some nasal spay. (I know, I know...bad stuff but occasionally necessary)..anyways I woke up sneezing a few times and right before my alarm went off, I felt something wet leak out below the nasal pillows. When I took the headgear off, I had quite a bit of runny stuff come out of my nose. It wasn't super thin like water, or thick like mucus. Was this rainout, snot, maybe both? My runny nose continued for about 20 minutes. No problems since, and this morning I've had no congestion at all. I have used the spray at bedtime several times before and haven't had any problems.
I have a heated hose as well as a cloth thing that covers it. I do have to refill the reservoir about every 5 days. Nothing has changed in my room, same temperature and I was quite comfortable.
Thanks for reading.

My nose runs regularly during the day --- having air pumped into your nose isn't natural so side effects are not uncommon. I don't think you were experiencing rain out but keep at it --- if you're getting a good night's sleep, minor sinus problems should be a non issue.

I had that happen once and could never put my finger on the cause because I didn't think I had any congestion. It is gross to wake up to but I didn't make any changes and it didn't happen again. Maybe your congestion just opened up.

Thanks for responding you guys. Glad to know it's happened to someone else.
I'm back to my usual congestion now.
