How long do your nasal pillows last?

Post by AMK » Thu Jan 28, 2016 8:43 am

For people using nasal pillow masks, how often do you find you need to replace the pillow? I seem to have trouble getting mine to last even two months...the pillow starts to become the tiniest bit smooshier and won't insert quite right or hold a seal.

Mine don't seem to wear out even after a year but I change them out whenever I get new supplies. For 17 years I apply a little petroleum jelly to my nose before bed. Pillows seal better and are more comfortable. Wash them in the sink with very warm water and baby shampoo. I use the Fisher Paykel Opus pillows --- no luck with anything else.

Thank you both! Very helpful. I may be one of those rare ones who needs a new pillow a little more often.
