Airsense 10 problems and one solution

Post by WindCpap » Wed Jan 13, 2016 11:14 am

My biggest complaint about the Airsense 10 is the warm-up/cool-down cycle.

The warm-up works great, except that when it is complete, it stays that way for a few minutes, and goes into the cool down cycle. I should be able to set it in warm-up at 9:00 and go to bed at 10:30 with it still warm. This part sucks, and I have no work-around.

The other problem is that if I get out of bed to go to the bathroom, unless I dial through the menu to put it in warm-up after stopping the air, it immediately goes into cool-down, and by the time I get back, the air is cold again. I have a solution for this one. The other night, I discovered that if you hold down the button on the top, the power turns off. This halts the cool-down cycle, and leaves the air warm for the short time of using the bathroom.

Will they actually listen? I was mostly just posting to show the power-off solution.

Good to know!

I start my warm up before I begin my bedtime routine. By the time I'm done, everything is nice and warm. Just curious here but why would you want your warm up to be so long before actually using the machine?

Understood. I have kiddo's in the house and I agree it sucks to put your mask on and freeze your sinuses.
