Bi pap repair.

Post by ablong » Sun Jan 10, 2016 9:48 pm

I was wondering if there is a good place to have a Tank model of bi-pap auto repaired . I t is still working but the bearings are getting very noisy. if memory is still working
It seems that Wulfman used to mention a site that does this kind of work. Any help would be nice.

I purchased it just as they were phasing out the Tank model. Jan 2007. I think.

ablong, I think you'll find that a machine that old is more cost-effective to replace, not to mention that the machines have become more refined. You might want to search for some Philips Respironics BiPAP Auto models online since they are selling for less money now that they are being replaced with the DreamStation. That is at least consistent with what you did when you bought the Tank.

Accurate is a great repair company, and Ian is very up-front in making estimates and recommendations. Good luck with your repair quest, but if that doesn't work out, there are lots of replacement options right now.

Thanks for the info. I have a Remstar cpap auto that has been my backup . I think I will run with it a while and see what the stats are. It has about 1300 hours and

kept clean and ready in case the Bi-pap locked up. I have taken it on some vacations and done very well. When I bought the Bi-pap I was working and and had FSA money
I knew from all on the forum it would last a long time.
