Swallowing Air

Post by Magicdave » Sun Dec 27, 2015 7:25 am

Apologies if this is already well known, but for a couple of years of CPAP use I had been frustrated by waking up with a very disturbed tummy where I had been swallowing air during the night. However, thanks to advice on here, I found the solution was to set my machine Airsense 10 to provide EPR (level 3) full time. Since changing this setting the problem has been virtually eliminated and my therapy levels remain excellent. Just thought this might be helpful if anyone has the same problem.

I mean 'distended tummy' - Autocorrect strikes again

I wasn't bothered by the " Disturbed term " at all. If I had a distended belly from my machine, I assure you that I would be quite disturbed. Fortunately, I have never experienced any problem with swallowing air .
