Someone wanted me to post my sleep study test results on here. I don't understand why i was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea when my study clearly shows way more central. It shows on the second page.

Your report is hard to read, but what I see in the Arousal Summary is 148 Apneas and 24 Hypopneas with an AHI index of 47.2. Where do you "clearly see" more Centrals?

It's on the very last picture that is sideways. The sleep technician is also the one that told me that if i were her she would call it central
sleep apnea. The last page lists how many of each i had. On the column for central it says that i had 103 centrals while i only had 9 obstructive episodes. I know they happened on my back but they were still central episodes? They told me my AHI was 65 and that I needed to have a set pressure of 12 on my machine. I'm struggling with that as well but i figured i would take steps with asking questions. I have so many but neither the sleep center or my DME Provider are really helping me. They both will claim they will call me back and it's now been a week later with no call backs.

LSAT- LOOK AT Top of 2nd page. Where it looks like a score card. About 5 lines down, it says total events.
# Obst. 9
# Central 144
# Mixed 3
Hypopnea 26. It's hard to read.

That is exactly what i'm talking about. Do you guys understand why they would diagnose me with the obstructive? It doesn't seem to make sense to me, i'm not a Dr. but the sleep socialist didn't understand either. Is it worth getting them looked at by another sleep center? She said my pressure at 12 stopped the episodes but if there is different way they could treat me that would be great.

No, not that i know of. I mean i'm only 22... They really didn't explain any of this. I never even meet with a Dr. I was just told I stopped breathing 65 times an hour and you need a CPAP machine. They ordered it, the sleep technician showed me how to use it and that was it. Is it like that for everyone?

What was the reason for going for the sleep study? By any chance does the doctor own the sleep center? The doctor's name is on the top of the sleep center report. I would insist on seeing the doctor to get an explanation.

I was actually sent there by my psychiatrist for excessive sleepiness. I thought i was just struggling with depression turns out, i was struggling with both. Yea, i think she does own the sleep center. I actually got a phone call back and asked and she is going to look into it. She said she didn't understand why I was diagnosed with the obstructive as well.
