just got diagnosed

My ahi is 8 and my rdi is 18. What does all of this mean? I have no energy during the day. Is that weird when you're considered mild? I also had a home sleep study. Unfortunately, my insurance didn't want to pay for a sleep lab study.

This video put the whole thing in perspective for me.

It should be required viewing for any one who is new. You can show it to your family and friends so they will understand and can be supportive of you.

I wish you well...

My sleep apnea was considered "mild" and I felt like crap every day...and I was barely 20 years old when I realized my snoring was more than just snoring.

CPAP therapy has changed everything.

All of this may seem confusing to you. My suggestion is to not worry too much about the numbers. If you can afford it or are insured, get that CPAP as soon as possible and start learning how to use it properly. Start the process!

Good luck to you.
