And how do I generally tell if I've correctly put them on? Would I be practically unable to exhale?

That was my experience.Simfish wrote:Would I be practically unable to exhale?

I would prefer to lug my machine everywhere.

I never found any advantage to those at all...I'd wake up with it stuck everywhere except my nose..Lost one for 2 days and finally discovered it stuck to my back in the shower.
But I didn't have a breathing problem with it, although it did take a night or two to get used to.
They might assist with snoring, but there's no way you'll convince me that those strips will solve sleep apnea.
BTW, it took me 6 plus years and 3 failed sleep studies, but I've got this machine licked now.. Got my compliance letter today in the mail so I'm home free with Medicare and finally am sleeping much better. Had a cold last week and that was a struggle, but as soon as I could get my nose to open up, my usage went way back up along with the sleep.
