Oh, terrific! And you seem to be starting out with very good equipment (what mask?)! Keep us up to date on how things go and if you run into problems maybe we can help. Lucky you found a decent MD - so many are clueless about all this!

Humidity is a user comfort setting. There is no RX for it.
Current Settings PS 4.0 over 10.6-18.0 (cmH2O) - Resmed S9 VPAP Auto w/h5i Humidifier - Quattro Air FFM

I changed machines AND settings, to achieve optimal therapy; THEN I told my doctor about it.
The RT's job is to keep your machine WORKING. Don't let him bully you.
