CPAP dot com HORRIBLE service

Post by KJF » Tue Oct 27, 2015 7:41 am

The cpap machine I purchased recently from CPAP dot com began to make noises, so I called to inquire about having it serviced under warranty. I was told that it would be evaluated and worked on the same day it was received. It was not. Several further calls were all met with assurances that I would hear from them "by the end of the day". I did not. One person told me that they do not work on the machines, that it had been sent to the manufacturer. It fact, it was not sent. One person told me that "it is being worked on right now", but that was also not true. Today I was told "well, we have only had it for one week". Is this the way medical equipment service is supposed to work? BEWARE - although they have good prices, they have very POOR SERVICE.

KJF,

If you are serious about resolving the problem vs. bitching about it to people who can't help you, you need to register and then do a search of Carolyn Goodman, one of the owners, so you can PM her about the problem.

This is the NOT what other customers of cpap.com have said about there service.
This is probably just a TROLL trying to cause trouble for them!
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

I wondered if the person was a troll since the title of the subject sounds familiar. Stay tuned.

Howdy,

We're happy to take this up with you but have no means of contacting you.

I wouldn't be surprised if several shady CPAP.com competitors periodically post these anonymous diatribes/complaints... mostly hoping to skim off a few CPAP.com customers. After all, it merely costs these trolls two minutes of time to slam out a few disgruntled sentences. Register and contact Carolyn directly, it's the reasonable thing to do.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Notice the lack of ANY personal information, a dead giveaway if there ever was one.

Yup, it's a troll I bet. But PLEASE, the less we respond, the more likely this post will get buried soon.

WE DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK!!!
Your post about CPAP.COM does not belong on the CPAPTALK forum.
You need to address whatever problems you perceive with the owners of CPAP.COM.......DIRECTLY.
But, from your description, you seem to have no idea of what you think you're talking about or how these types of sellers of medical devices work. In other words, your post is lots of gibberish.

Guys, quit piling on the original poster. It reflects badly on the forum, and maybe even on cpap.com.

Hopefully the truth will come out in the end.

Nothing like being innocent until proven guilty, eh? Aggravating as some might be when PO'd.

Why rush to judgment? The person could be a troll or just making trouble. Then again, maybe it's the truth and the person is angry enough to put it all out here, especially since the person claims he/she already contacted cpap.com and the problem wasn't resolved. I must admit I'm curious.

Folks,

I think I have shown in previous posts that I do try to give people the benefit of the doubt in situations like this. And even in this case when I was more suspicious than usual for the reasons I previously mentioned, I did suggest the poster contact Carolyn Goodman. But I guess when people keep writing posts like this with similar type subject headings and don't bother to register, I think it is understandable that people would be suspicious.

Anyway, kudos to Johnny Goodman for reaching out. Let's see if the OP reports back as to what happened.
