Great news! What was your leak rate and AHI?

Unless it is above 5, your AHI calculated by the machine is really not relevant. It doesn't account for when you are awake or asleep, and doesn't read your PaO2, so it can't tell if an event even counts. Ditto for leak rate. Unless it is really high (above the manufacturers threshold) or bothering you due to dry mouth/nose/face/eyes, the number is not important.

I personally can't get more than 6 1/2 -7 hours of sleep on CPAP, but I could get 9-12 before and still not have the energy I have now. I think my body thinks it is done after three sleep cycles because I get better sleep than I ever have before.

I was never in bed half an hour in then getup start wandering around the house
Get back in bed try again it was like this for years I suffered with insomnia for six months never slept
Started jumping out of bed not being able to breath thing went from bad to worse
Got diagnosed with sleep apnea about 2 years ago had a mouth piece made
Didn't work had another sleep study done in august then a week ago told I need a cpap
Machine I stop breathing for 48 seconds every couple of minutes

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
