XT Fit CPAP Machine -- AVOID

Post by ids » Thu Oct 15, 2015 11:50 am

Avoid this machine at all costs....

...XT Fit CPAP Machine.....it is made in Taiwan, after 2 tries, the machine broke - and even before I sent the unit in, they mentioned water damage --- after they looked at for over 4 weeks, they said -- yea -- water damage - then they sent me a different broken unit back...since I labeled mine

I am made a CPAP since they sold a horrible product, and then after I reviewed just the machine on their reviews - they removed it - since it was there for a few days - and I cannot add back the review for just the machine --- that's wrong

So, stay away from this machine - again, made in Taiwan...and CPAP was wrong to remove my post

IDS,

I have tried to give you the benefit of the doubt with your posts but I am finding it increasing hard to do so. There are plenty of negative reviews of a product on the cpap.com site so I have a hard time believing that your negative review was removed unless it was done for a good reason.

And for the third time, I am asking you if you have attempted to contact the Goodmans to resolve your issue? By not answering my question, it sounds like you have more interest in stirring the pot on this forum vs. trying to solve your problems with cpap.com.

Really!!!! You need to have 2 threads going that say exactly the same thing??? Funny that all you do is complain and ignore what others tell you. You didn't like the replies you got on the first thread, you are>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Two "tries" at what? You've never stated how you perceive the machine to be "broke".

What's your problem........they sent you a different unit. And, you didn't state how you think that one is "broken" either.

What's wrong with Taiwan? Lots of good stuff has been made in Taiwan.

And, again.........your issues with these machines and the supplier should be kept OFF of the forum. If I'd have been the first one to see this post (before it had any replies), I would have deleted it.......and I don't do that often. But, I'd have made an exception for this one.

Did it occur to you that what they said about water damage might not be true, either because they were trying to get rid of you and what I imagine was your lousy attitude (if how you've acted here is anything to go by), or that they might just have been mistaken?

yes, I did, several times.... I only posted here, after I exhausted all those options and gave up
Maybe the Goodmans are good people, but the vendor they work with need a lot to be desired, so even if people have a positive attitude about them, stay away from this particular brand -

No - I only posted after months of trying to get them to help and after they removed my review....I only reviewed the machine, not cpap - well, that is until now, when they removed the review

Maybe it was because you never stated what the perceived "problem" was. Just like here......you've said it was "broken" but never said how or what it does or doesn't do that qualifies it as "broken" in your mind.

You're not helping your cause one little bit. You need to either state the actual problem or shut the hell up.

Been a lurker and finally registered as this issue struck a cord with me.

The machine you purchased from the forum sponsor has a serial number which was included in your sales receipt and held on file with the seller. If you never used water and the manufacturer claimed water damage was the issue, you should have made that clear in writing back to the manufacturer. Further, I would have been all over the manufacturer with the proof that the machine they returned to you was not the machine you sent in for warrantee work. Their diagnosis may have been spot on for the machine that was returned to you and a mistake on their part.

If you had gone through that exercise and did not get the resolution you expected....then you should have provided all the communication and explain to the seller that the manufacturer cant possibly be right as they returned a machine to you that does not match the serial number sold to you.

At this point, I think you are SOL given how poorly you have handled this by coming out with a full attack, rather than clearly stating the issue and asking the good folks here for their opinion on how to move forward.

The Seller is bound by the water diagnosis given by the manufacturer, and there hands are tied unless you can explain how the machine returned was not yours. But again, at this point, you are likely not going to get much help.

I think what the man is asking you is what exactly was the problem with the machine? Was it sparking or flowing flames at you or just not turning on. Den has a lot of knowledge here on this board. I owe him many thanks!

I am sorry to read that you are having issues. I hope you can get them resolved to your satisfaction.

I wish you well...
