Re: DreamWear mask is now pre order at cpap.com
I was actually involved in the trials for this mask. I am a side sleeper and it worked fine for me. Very comfortable! They are sending me a free mask since I was in the trial but not sending it until January. Glad to see that they came out with small medium large frames finally. It was super comfy and I loved the nasal cradle under the nose instead of the nasal pillow style. Can't wait to get mine. I think you all that are getting one soon will be pretty happy with it. It's easy to clean and easy to put on at night.

The side things with air in them on the DreamWear have never really been something that I worried about. I used this mask briefly and it has side things with air and the silicone was rather stiff and believe it or not but the side things weren't the issue with the Nasal Aire II prong mask...I ended up being an in between size and there's no wiggle room when it comes to prong sizing.
I figure if this wasn't a problem that the most likely softer silicone side thingies of the DreamWear would be a non issue too.

I figure most of us will be getting the mask this next week....do we want to have a new thread for reviews or stick the reviews in this thread?
Edit for clarification...I was referring to the trial with the Nasal Aire II above with I said "I used this mask briefly" and mentioned it only because it also has side things with air in them and surprisingly with the Nasal Aire II and the rather stiff tubing the side things were a non issue. I full expect that the improved side things now (after 6 years which was that long ago that I tried the Nasal Aire II) on the DreamWear will also be a non issue. I am more concerned with the stability of the cradle cushion part of things. I have never had a chance to use a cradle cushion mask...back when I first started therapy there were a couple of cradle cushion masks but I never got around to trying them and then they got discontinued.

You should give the Dreamwear some more time. The side pieces were a non issue for me from the first time I put it on. This mask has made apap tolerable to me compared to my old nasal mask.Pugsy wrote:The side things with air in them on the DreamWear have never really been something that I worried about. I need to edit my post a little better. I was referring to the Nasal Aire II when I was talking about what I used briefly. I haven't even received the DreamWear mask yet. I don't look for it until probably Tuesday.JasonK94Z wrote:You should give the Dreamwear some more time. The side pieces were a non issue for me from the first time I put it on. For more reviews check out this thread.

It looks like the start of a good review thread.
This pre order notification thread has become 3 pages already and most not really related to reviews.
