My best night of therapy so far was one night I got tipsy... woke up feeling like a million bucks. Go figure. Moral: we should become alcoholics.

My brother-in-law drank heavily every day for his last thirty (+) years.
He managed to alienate everyone in his family.
I, for one, will not miss him, at least not the wretched creature he had become.

You might try a change in role model, maybe your AHI isn't lower with Xpap, you may have put the mask on the dog.

Drunk Sleeping lowers breathing drive, and can make sleep apnea worse. Also someone may move the dumpster and room the wheels over your fingers. Jim

Perhaps this is why I wake up with a huge headache after tying one on. I bet my apnea was hell on me.
Haven't tried this now that I have my cpap. That 12 pack in the fridge looks tasty right about now lol.
