WISP Nasal Mask AIRFIT and AHI

Post by Wong » Wed Sep 23, 2015 8:43 pm

The mask-mouth piece gap is leaking. Is that normal? I am using the CPAP past 7 days and my AHI are 5,5,15,3,10,9 and 10, is my AHI normal? What is the good AHI for me? Does AHI change daily? Will it get better with my continue CPAP usage?

Did you ever read what was said to you in your other thread where the same questions were asked?

About the mask leaking...are you sure you aren't feeling the normal vented air exiting the mask through the vent holes?

That was one of my complaints about the wisp was the vented air. It bothered my wife and it would wake me during the night. I could make the mask work and got good AHI results from it but there were other things with it that made it just a back up mask for me. I guess starting with the Pilairo Q kind of spoiled me when it comes to air venting. That thing was QUIET! My Airfit P10 is also very, very quiet and is my main mask. Anyways, the venting might be part of your problem as Pugsy has pointed out.
