PM'ing with whine also sucks, baby.
I don't know why you take such offense to my teams intentions. I ask that you please just leave us to collect information from those willing to do so.

You are wasting your own time by ranting at us.

Happy to help. I've seen too many people chased out of here because they set a foot wrong on their way in. This is the right place to find the information you need. Apneaboard.com is another place you can check out.

have to laugh. Get used to it. You are dealing with the public and there is a wide range of public. Don't worry about it. Your responses are great. Don't take it personally, not that I think you are.
Sleeping MUCH better now

Ya want a "winner" ? Rework the custom fit idea that is used on the Respironics Profile Lite masks to include all types of mask configurations. ( nasal-full face & nasal pillows. ) It is a "boil & form" material that leaves something to be desired, but, ultimately works OK. You perfect that, you'll be wealthy and famous ! ~~~ https://www.cpap.com/productpage/profil ... onics.html

Formfitting materials was one of my first ideas when brainstorming! I know similar things exist for packaging, but it will be a challenge to perfect a system that incorporates that with high performance demand for a good seal. Thanks for the ideas!

And look at metamason before you go brainstorming 3D printing.

Justin and Team,
I took the survey. One question in particular, though, had responses that were too generalized to be meaningful. IMHO. The question was "Which is most important? Comfort. Performance. Or Cost?" Perhaps if you do any further sampling you would consider separating those factors into individual questions. There is much that can be read in to each one. For instance, Does "comfort" refer to the fit? Materials? No leakage? Or do some of these fall under the category of "performance?" Possibly the "cost" category has other considerations, as well: "How important is cost in determining your choice of mask?"

Thank you to you and your group for asking. I see that you are getting a bit of "trial by fire" here but nothing worthwhile happens without struggle. You cannot overcome obstacles if there are none in your path. I am fairly new to this board and have learned much from the many here. Listen to your critics as intently as you listen to your supporters. Each has something useful to offer, and your critics can often be responsible for pushing you toward greater excellence! Best wishes!

Justin,

I also took the survey and am grateful to you and your team for posting here. Regarding asking if comfort or performance was more important, personally, I don't see those two issues as mutually exclusive. For me if the mask isn't comfortable, performance is going to stink to high heaven.

Best of luck with your project.

Justin,

I as well wanted to chime in and say that I hope your project goes well. The cynicism and negativity you've encountered in this post doesn't represent all of us here, and to me you seem nothing but interested and well-intentioned. Best wishes to you & your team!

Carey

I have long wished to see a full face mask with an inflatable cushion- a la "The Pump"
--Instantly adjustable by squeezing the ball pump. Adjustable to apply to changing features.
People with injuries or extreme facial surgeries or even birth deformities could use the mask "off the shelf".

That's a brilliant idea, using the machine to inflate the seal keeps changing it, by using a pump independent of the XPAP, the seal would be stabilized. Brovo! Jim

That would really help FF masks!

If such a mask existed, then I would be more likely to use a full face mask.
Sadly, none are designed for my unique, but lovely features.
By the way, if this mask is ever made, I would cheerfully accept samples in lieu of royalties.

I see you quoted my offer; which stands.
I would so much like to see this idea implemented, and will let someone else invest money, time, and talent in this.
After all, I am retired--and joyfully so.
