Since your in CA also, why don't you stop by and take a look for yourself? I'm more then happy to show the unit/accessories in person. Edit - I stand corrected. The label on the left hand of the unit says "Elite". You are correct, it is an elite. I'll see if I can change the title and adjust the price accordingly. Unsure as to why the welcome guide says "autoset", unless it's just generic documentation that comes with the unit.

The picture you posted specifically shows an ELITE model...not an autoset. The owners manual is for all models. Forget what the welcome guide says....you are selling an ELITE. You don't have to be a ResMed expert to read what is printed on the unit.

They paperwork is the same for 5 machines. It lists all 5 models from the best at top to the worst at the bottom. The Elite is in the middle. The machine itself says ELITE next to the power button. Which means it is a cpap machine with straight pressure, not an autoset which has auto mode.

That said, this machine, while not used, is not new in terms of being the newest, latest machine. It is a good machine, but discontinued. I bought a used autoset (better than an elite) with less than 200 hours about a year ago for $200. I see them on craigslist for $300 or less at least once a month. They just don't sell for $500 anymore, even new. And while it has a mask, most people need a specific mask and specific size, so they are not likely to care about the one included with the machine.

You need to edit your subject to reflect that the machine is an Elite and edit any subsequent posts that might mention AutoSet.
It doesn't help a seller to not know what he is selling. Makes us wonder about a lot of things and will greatly reduce your chance of ever selling it here to a forum member.

It also doesn't help to be asking probably twice what we would normally pay for that machine.
The mask has been opened and is of little value to someone who uses that mask and of zero value to someone who doesn't use that mask.

Thanks for in the info. I'm about to adjust the price and correct the title as mentioned earlier. I'll do a quick search on the forums, but I haven't been able to find a S9 with humidifier for less then $550.

Sure, thanks for the info, I didn't know about the documentation being the same. As mentioned above, I still haven't see one for less then $550 but I'll adjust the price accordingly. I also posted a link above.

I am not local (in Missouri) and I am not in need of a machine at this time and I don't know of anyone at this time who has a need for your machine. If it was the AutoSet you would likely get a little more interest here but since the release of the AirSense model line the S9 models aren't in as much demand (people want the latest and greatest).
I did sell a S9 Elite with humidifier and 8 hours on it for $200 a few months ago and was glad to get what I got....if it was the S9 AutoSet...$300 probably.

The S9 Elite is a great machine but you will find that the forum members here either want auto adjusting machines (and the Elite isn't one of those) or they want screaming hot deals (we are notorious for being tightwads, myself included ) and that's just the way it is here.
Remember most of us already have our machines or we wouldn't be here.

Filters are cheap and opened masks have very little value because the silicone starts to deteriorate a bit once it is exposed to air. It yellows and becomes a bit brittle and picks up all sorts of room odors.
