6 months in and still feel rough
Re: 6 months in and still feel rough
Have you seen an ENT doctor to rule out physical blockages that may be new (nasal or otherwise)? Not suggesting you immediately have surgery for anything (have to be careful with surgeons ) but why not rule out anything obvious?

I have h.ad a CT scan and go to see the ENT guy on 1St Oct. I have a FFM so even if there is a blockage further up shouldnt that be bypassed through the mouth? I am struggling to get my head round this and all the tiredness and foggy head has started to cause anxiety which isnt helping I dont think

Theoretically maybe, but you do breathe through your nose even if you're not conscious of it after all, unless there are e.g. turbinates that need shrinking, etc... but good that you've arranged to see someone. You are making sense here even if it may not feel like it.

Thanks Julie. I just thought I would start using my machine and all my problems would just magically disappear!! I had a fifteen minute explanation and demonstration and that was all - they basically said get a low AHI and everything will be good. From reading on here I now understand Flow limitations are important as well and to me it looks like I am having a lot of those? Sometimes I think I am cracking up and start to get depressed and have to keep reminding myself it is still early days and need to optimise this treatment which I hardly understand
