I have recently been diagnosed with mild sleep apnea via a private sleep study.
I feel terrible and would like to get my problem treated. CPAP has been recommended to me.
Which machine is the best for mild obstructive sleep apnea? Which mask to use? I am quite lost. Happy to purchase a cpap machine whilst I wait for a referrel to respiratory, but simply don't know which to choose.

Re: Looking for someone with knowledge
Jordie,
There are many on this list who might be able to help you, but we need a little more information to help get started....
It would be helpful to know what country or city you are in and what type of insurance or healthcare program you are participating in. We may need other information as well, but that should help get us started.
You are off to a good start by asking for help. Good luck.

Welcome, Jordie! Register an account so that all your posts will appear under your name.

It's where the most important threads for new people are pinned so that they never move down the page and get buried.
Start with the threads "Where A CPAP Newbie Should Start" and "Especially for newly diagnosed - Dealing with Change ".
There is a tremendous amount of useful information available here for the taking. Read, read, read and you will save yourself much time and trouble.
