Nasal pillow vs nasal mask and BiPAP settings

Post by Rreffner » Wed Aug 19, 2015 6:54 am

OK my question is are the same machine settings used for either mask type OR are separate and distinct settings used depending on which mask used? Thanks

Which "machine setting" were you referring to?

If pressure....
Generally speaking the same pressure settings are used for both the nasal cushion and the nasal pillow mask.

If mask type setting...depends on if one is using ResMed which has a mask choice section and Respironics which does not have a mask choice section.
