ResMed S7 with HumidAire 2i How to change pressure?

Post by CPAPSaves » Tue Aug 15, 2006 4:53 am

Hi, I have been using a ResMed S7 with HumidAire 2i for 2.75 years 6459 hours with GREAT success the thing has literally saved my life! It went bad over the weekend and I made 2 trips to lincare about 45 minutes from my home yesterday to drop off my unit, then to pick up the replacement unit as the first one had a bad motor they said.

My problem is that they did not set the pressure on the replacement unit and it is to low to work. My prescription calls for 12 it is right here on the original paperwork I received with the original unit that failed and this new unit feels about 1/2 of that, I am back to apena even using the unit. I knew the instant I put it on last night that it was way less pressure than I had before. I have now had 3 sleepless nights, I feel like crap and I need help please.

Can anyone PLEASE help me know how to set this new unit to 12 from whatever it is on? I do not have the time off work to make another 2 trips to lincare. Whatever happened to people taking pride in their work and doing it right the first time, I spent 40 dollars in gas and 4+ hours of my day (when I should have been working) driving to lincare and back 2 times yesterday!

The replacement unit was set on 8! I changed it to 12 and now it feels just like it did before. I OWE you guys BIG!!

Here is the answer I found!

"I'm not familiar with the S6, but on the S8 you press and hold the "Down" and "Right" buttons simultaneously to get you into Clinicians Menu."

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I am not going to post the members name for obvious reasons, but I thank you VERY much!!
