Can you recommend a good nasal pillow mask?

Post by Bgdaddy55 » Tue Aug 11, 2015 2:45 am

Hi Everyone.
You guys seem like you could help me. I am currently wearing a full nose mask.
My therapist said I am right on the cusp of being able to use a nasal pillow. I am set for a 12.
I would like to wear one, but the one she gave me doesn't allow me to exhale like the nose mask. So, when I wear it, I feel like I'm choking on air. No way I can sleep.
Does anybody recommend a nasal pillow mask that doesn't cause this?
Also, I thought I would get used to the noise, but it seems to be more annoying. Suggestions?
Thanks!

Please give us the name of what you do have so we can get an idea of what's not working.

If you are currently successfully using a "full nose mask" (nasal mask)....why do YOU think it is necessary to change?

Not enough information .... there are a lot of nasal pillow masks available, and they are all good.... just that some are better than others

Fill out your profile with machine and mask and pressure setting , cause pressure makes a difference.
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Get the Clinicians manual here : http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual
