I have been using a profile lite mask. I tried the swift, and couldn't tolerate it, it made my skin burn. Then I ordered a comfort curve, really like the way it is made, but cannot get it to stay in place when I lay down. I am side sleeper. Anyway, when I came home last night, my puppy had gotten my mask somehow and chewed up the plastic at the top where the gel forehead thing is, well I have to use so I taped it back together until I could get another one. There was probably 1/2 left with the gel pad and 3/4 inch left above the actual mask. Now after I taped it, it fit quite well, was comfortable, more than I had ever known. The question is, how do I get this fit again? Any suggestions? I don't think I want to break and tape a new one. I have been looking for something that fits better for a long time. Looked at the IQ, phantom and minime, but didn't see anything good about them. I know it is an individual thing, but would appreciate suggestions.
Thanks

Please see this post from another forum. Seems they have figured this face mask and skin problem out in Australia.....

Boy, that really bites!
Sorry, I had too...
You said you are a side sleeper. I like the Puritan Bennett Breeze.

It only touches your nose nares (well, it has head gear),but NO strap marks!
Seals nice, but seals better with a little saline nasal gel. I like the fact you can rotate the oval nasal pillows to fit in your nose better, unlike the Respironics Comfortlite2.
The Breeze does have a chunk of plastic at the back of your head that you may not like if you roll onto your back. It's not too bad for me, though. I think it depends on your pillow.

						good luck!!!!!!!!!!
I use the hybrid mask and with the help of a papillow and PAD-A-CHEEKS can sleep in any position! I'm pretty sure that this mask is the reason I have had so few issues complying with cpap treatment.
