leakage

Post by chrissy » Wed Jun 24, 2015 9:14 pm

Have used various masks. Currently using the Whisp and still have leakage which results in my mouth opening, and my mouth gets really dry. The noise also disturbs my husband. Any suggestions?
Thanks. Chrissy

Get a full face mask - it's what they were invented for.

I am using a full face mask since they are designed to be used by people end up with an open mouth. The full face mask does not stop the desert mouth. I am using the Biotene Gel (tried the spray didn't work as well) and I also tape from the sides of mask down under my chin to help coax my mouth to stay shut. I start out with good seal and during the night it goes. It is battle try as many suggestions as you can and try to find some of the threads that discuss your current issue with your treatment. Good Luck.
