Airfit P10 hose getting sticky on the inside?

Had my Airfit P10 for about 6 months.

Washed regularly in hot tap water with baby shampoo and hung to dry.

Still using the same set of medium pillows with no apparent leakage.

Funny thing, I noticed that when I pushed and pulled the flexible tubing it made kind of a "sticking" sound.

Washed again with stronger detergent and purposely pulled a cloth through the tubing and still get the same sound so it does not appear to be any kind of buildup.

Seems like the plastic is deteriorating/softening.

I have a spare "new" backup and it does not do this at all.

Anybody else noticed this?

Not sure to keep using or not... probably not...

my p10 has always done it as far as I can remember, so does my partners. an unused spare doesn't, maybe they changed the hose composition slightly. neither of us use humidity most of the time.

I guess it is not a big deal, but just a little odd.

I do use humidity because of extremely bad dry mouth when I first started cpap, but that has mostly gone away at this point.

I guess I will keep using for a while longer, but at least I know mine is not the only one.
