Personally No. You get much more detailed data from Sleepyhead.
Current Settings PS 4.0 over 10.6-18.0 (cmH2O) - Resmed S9 VPAP Auto w/h5i Humidifier - Quattro Air FFM
TNET Sleep Resource Pages - CPAP Machine Database
Put your equip in your Signature - SleepyHead v1.0.0-beta-1

I use it. It's easy for me to check on my iPhone. It's doesn't give a lot of info like Sleepyhead, but generally, it correlates very well with how I'm feeling - ie, scores between 95 and 100 (which I have hit only once!) mean I'll have a pretty energetic day. Scores in the 80's...not so much.

Yes, I use it with a new machine to verify compliance and get a basic overview of the night.

I wish it allowed us to drill down for more details. E.G. Click on the AHI (Events per hour) chart to see the ratio of obstructive vs central apneas.

Yes I use it. I realise you don't have the level of detail like Sleepyhead - but not sure I need that. MyAir gives me s simple to understand summary of how my therapy is going, and being able to access that remote from the machine is very useful.

I do as well. And agree it doesn't have as mich details as sleppy head. But I do not have the patience to check sleeepyhead everyday so it's a good enough alternate. Maybe I'll check my sleepyhead data once a week.

Yes, I use the MyAir from ResMed. I can check it from my phone so that makes it very convenient for me. I've never tried Sleepyhead. Might have to look into it. But I feel like MyAir at least gives me a good idea of how my sleep patterns are changing, and that the seal on my mask was good while I was asleep. My cat tends to like to "head-butt" me, so she has knocked it out of my nose a couple of times! I feel like, as a beginner, it gives me enough information to know that I'm doing it right!

No, I could use Sleepyhead, but that would mean digging out my laptop and cursing Microsoft every seven minutes.
I just don't need the aggravation. I get all the info I need off the screen of my machine.

I use it too. I'm on day 13 total and day 7 with MyAir. My scores are great, but I have a question about it. Even when I get 100 points, it says I had 1 on/off of mask, which I don't think I had. I use nasal pillow. I put it on, then turn on machine. In the a.m. I turn it off, then take off nasal pillow. Does this mean that I am removing the pillow during the night? It reports that I had ZERO leaks.

I think the 1 on/off thing is just the session and that would go along with one putting it on at the beginning of the night and the one off in the AM.

You might play with it a little and do a quick on/off about 15 minutes after starting it or later if you happen to wake up briefly and just see if it shows another session.

I also use MY AIR by ResMed and I use SleepyHead.

However, not sure which one to believe. MY AIR shows excellent, while SleepyHead shows different. (mask leak). I read somewhere that SleepyHead can sometimes register apneas as mask leaks and vice versa (depending on machine).

I used to look at it, but mostly it just pisses me off so I stopped.
  • 1) The user interface sucks. It shows you a total number at the top, and the you have to click a button and roll the screen down to show the breakdown. When you click the sideways arrows to change the day, it closes up the detail part and you have to click and roll to get it back.

    2) As you scroll through the different days, the numbers on the top in the circle are only right about 75% of the time. The numbers on the bottom (that you have to get carpel tunnel constantly reopening) are always the same for a particular day and always match the numbers in Sleepyhead for that day, but the top number sometimes matches the day's values, and sometimes is just some random number.

    3) The tech support people are clueless -- when I sent them an email reporting that their web page can't correctly sum up the numbers that are on a different section of the web page, they sent back a response saying that my machine doesn't always send in my results right away and I should wait to check until later in the day (huh?)

    4) The algorithm dings you for a "mask off" if you turn the machine on and off, even if it's only for a second and the mask stays most definitely ON. Or if I take it off because I'm not asleep, and the "tether" doesn't reach to the bathroom. Or I've taken the mask off to throw up, and I'm pretty sure that puking in the mask is NOT good.
    • I sometimes wake up at the end of a REM sleep cycle with the machine blowing at it's max pressure, and if I push the off button on the machine and then breathe to cycle it back on I will be at the min pressure and can usually go back to sleep quickly. If I just leave the machine running at max it will finish waking me up because it takes a long time to drop back down when I'm awake.
I frequently wake up when my husband gets up, and then go back to sleep when he leaves. This is a "sleep disorder" as serious as NOT BREATHING?!?
    5) Ya know, being condescended to by people who can't correctly add up a column of five numbers is just more aggravation than I need in my life.

I write the screen numbers down in my notebook, and add my blood sugar and insulin use.
One column is for pillow or filter changes, etc. My doctor always wants to see it.
If I had weird enough numbers, I would use Sleepyhead.
Not planning to use "My Air", because I don't need the aggravation.
