Trouble getting SleepyHead to Run-AirCurve 10 ST

Post by Oldern » Wed Jun 10, 2015 1:29 pm

Tell me if I should be posting this in SleepyHead.

I have been using ResMed’s VPAP Adapt SV for almost five years. Because of the results of a recent study, “. . . SERVE-HF, a multinational, multi-center, randomized controlled Phase III trial did not meet its primary endpoint.,” I am now using ResMed’s AirCurve 10 ST.

1. I downloaded SleepyHead Software (SH)but cannot get it to read the data on the SD card.
A. Mine is a 64bit system so I selected that option in installation.
B. I am able to create a profile
2. I can import the data from the SD card into ResScan software and it appears to be OK.
3. I can access the SD card through SH and see subfolders labeled 20150604, 5, 6, and so forth. Nothing happens when I try to open on of these in SH.
4. One screen has a floating, rotating box (looks like a Kleenex Box) with an icon that looks like a big I for information. The words “NO Data” appear at the bottom.
5. I can access the “Preferences” page
6. Statistics option presents “‘Brand,’ ‘Model,’ ‘Serial,’ ‘First Use,’ and ‘Last Use.’”

I appreciate any help I can get

Sleepyhead has issues with some of the AirCurve units. You might need to try ResScan instead.
Current Settings PS 4.0 over 10.6-18.0 (cmH2O) - Resmed S9 VPAP Auto w/h5i Humidifier - Quattro Air FFM
TNET Sleep Resource Pages - CPAP Machine Database
Put your equip in your Signature - SleepyHead v1.0.0-beta-1

sleepyhead wants to read the card itself, not the folders in the card. or, let it find the card on its own.

Thanks for any tips.
I am running ResScan, latest version. I'm interested in using SH.

I can't get SH to do anything.
1. The option to import brings up screen, "do you import from the usual (remembered) locations. I've tried, "The Usual" and "New Location".
2. F:/ (My SD card) appears in the "Look in:" but I can only go back and up to parent director.
3. Here is debug content:
00380: Debug: "SleepyHead v0.9.3" built with Qt 4.8.1 on May 18 2013 21:42:27

Maybe my program and data files are set up in an unusual way on my C drive. Disappointing, but SH may have to wait.

Thanks. If anything comes to mind, let me know.

current is 0.9.8-1.

Well what do you know? I just downloaded two days ago so something is awry. But I can see clearly that the Build Date is May 18, 2013

I'll report back.

where did you dl it from?

if you're using linux, you have to build it yourself.

http://www.sleepfiles.com/SH2/

I uninstalled the old version of SH (from months ago, as you noticed) then downloaded again. That seemed to worked. I now have access to my data.

I didn't take the time to inquire whether the old version had to be uninstalled or not.

I received the AirCurve 10 ST on the 3rd or 4th of June. I do remember trying to get SH to work when I used the VPAP Adapt SV (ResMed) and never did. I'm not sure the VPAP Adapt SV and SH were ever compatible. There weren't too many users.

I do appreciate the assist.

if it was a vpap adapt sv, then it was a s8 machine, and didn't use a sd card, and wasn't supported by SH.

if you mean a s9 vpap adapt (no sv) with the sd card in the back, then yes, those are supported by sleepyhead.

It was the VPAP Adapt SV-all nine pounds of it. I could connect it to the computer (no SD card) by cable and upload data. It was the "Enhanced" version-data capable.
Very expensive, too.

yeah, only the s9 and a10 models are supported by SH.

I hadn't read that study, what's that all about? Oldern, can you get your hands on it and post a link

NEVERMIND: got it. Hmmm, a fairly big study too:

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
