No please do not put words in my mouth. Twitter is different.

I had a roommate once that loved telling people when he farted.
I do that too!!!! I like the reaction of small children. Funny to see them run! Farting has an ancient biological usefulness. I think it was used to keep small furry animals from getting too close.

If all you want to do is post clever insults, it's best to Just Not Respond. Let the people who have more patience deal with the exasperating newbies who irritate the daylights out of you.

As someone whose nickname is Cranky I claim standing in this discussion

The neuro-pharmacologist/psychologist who diagnosed and successfully treated the cause
of my life-long intermittent depressions pointed out that cranky is a symptom.

Once freed of the 50+years of biological predisposition, I was able to see my own behavior
more clearly and better deal with some poor social habits I had accumulated.

When I feel compelled to chastise someone I try to pause and remind myself that:
it isn't really about me;
not everyone who makes a comment needs the benefit of my wisdom;
not everyone who irritates me requires correction;
I am not actually obligated to maintain standards in organizations or groups;
and finally,
in the words of the Dalai Lama, "What wisdom can you find that is better than kindness?"

Sinus pressure hurts worse when I lay down. Maybe your cold is a sinus infection? Try a netti pot. Youtube has videos on how to use one.

Good points, spot on. And kindness. What a concept. The opposite of bullying.
