Mask seal ripped

Post by SheilaD » Sat Jun 06, 2015 7:53 pm

Ok so when I was washing my mask today I accidentally ripped my seal. ( I know not good ) I do not have a back up mask or a replacement seal and I called my provider and due to the fact that there is no respiratory therapist in I can not get a replacement part until Monday or Tuesday. Is there anyone in Elkhart County Indiana who can help me out and sell me a mask cheap or loan me one until I can get my replacement seal?? I have only had my equipment for a little over a month so I have not had time to get replacement parts.

A replacement cushion can be gotten from Ebay and other places, but not over night. Typically, they are around $20 - $30 brand new depending on what size you need, but will take days to get there.

It is after 10pm EDT right now, you most likely will have a hard time finding a spare at this time.

If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

You slept for years before you were dx'd didn't you? Sleep sitting up in a recliner or at least with lots of pillows. I know it will be scary but you will be okay
