Resmed 11 beeping nonstop

Post by Lnakhla » Sun Feb 19, 2023 1:13 pm

I just got my first Resmed a month ago. Today it started beeping softly nonstop after I turned it off. How can I make it stop beeping?

Are you sure it's the AirSense 11 beeping and not something else? UPS, smoke alarm, power sensor?

There is no mention of alarms, beeps or speakers in the AirSense 11 manual and you're the first I can recall reporting it.

Could the beeping be a squeaking noise? After a session ResMed's will gently blow air through the system for 30 minutes to blow off humidity.

Have you unplugged it?

Mrs Respirator took her car back to Toyota to investigate a random beeping. Turned out to be the garage door motor. So, it's not always the obvious.

Sometimes it IS the obvious. You are not old enough to remember when most cars didn't have A/C, and there was a lot of driving with the windows open. The story says a lady took her new car to the dealer and complained it was making a clicking noise. She said it only happened when she was driving across bridges.

You could unplug the CPAP. If you still hear it beeping, it's something else.
